I have set up the auto responder to send an availability email in Bookerville. Is there a way to respond throught HomeAway/VRBO/Flipkey so that I maintain a high response rate on their listing service?
Hmm, I may have just figured out my own answer. If I auto respond to the HomeAway email stating I would send a response about availability soon. That might keep my response score up. It also might confuse guests when they receive BVs response minutes before the HA response.
How have you accomplished this?

Hi Gbelton - let me try to clear things up a bit: we haven't achieved this.
The Auto-Responder works very well for those who have a traditional listing account with the big sites. That is, if you're paying a flat annual subscription fee and they simply feed you leads.
If you have a commission-based account with them, then I'm not sure why you'd want to use an external auto-responder, because in that case everything leading up to the sale happens in the other site.
Which kind of account do you have with them?

I have a traditional listing account with HA/VRBO/VR. those three have a response score that is displayed on my listing.
I also have a traditional listing account with Dwellable. I'm on my own with responses here.
I have commission subscriptions to AirBnB and Flipkey which have response scores.
My question deals with the first three.
Dwellable would be easy to add into BV.
I realize I can't do anything about AirBnB and Flipkey.
